We are a manufacturing and trading company from Sežana, which has been operating for more than 40 years. We have devolved from a craftsman workshop into a company that strives towards development and innovation. The company is known for its history of dealing with the development of lighting components, therefore we have a tradition and experiences. We are familiar with all types of lighting.

 

In the 1980’s we produced high-voltage transformers for luminous neon advertising signs and transformers for halogen lighting. Since 1990 we have developed our own ballast system for fluo lighting, which was used by more prominent companies of the Slovenian economy (Laško, Coca-Cola, Union...). With the arrival of new powerful LED diode we began to work intensely on the development of LED lighting. We have produced over 100 different LED lights of our own which are all manufactured in Slovenia.

 

In order to draw nearer to you, our customers and to keep in step with time, we started producing LED lamps five years ago. Manufacture contains tool making (production of tool prototypes) to the final step of a composite light. This enables us to produce custom made lights. In the manufacture of lamps we work with cooperators in Slovenia. Our products are interwoven with Slovenian knowledge and development.

 

Our own production located in Slovenia gives us many advantages. The greatest advantages are adaptability, flexibility and quick delivery. We know from personal experience that theory does not always correspond with practice and that in the process of realization there can be deviation. Due to our own production and being within the reach of a hand we can quickly supplement these deviations. If it turns out that the project incorporated lighting which was not appropriate, we can easily follow these changes and substitute lighting in the shortest amount of time. If you are unsure of the number of needed lights, we can easily adapt and prepare the missing. In an event of unforeseen damage to lighting we will supply you with new lighting in the shortest amount of time as possible.

 

Currently we are devoting our time to illuminating jewelry stores, which is our greatest advantage. LED diodes do not heat up the room therefore they are the most appropriate technology to illuminate the display windows. Temperature that’s too high causes oxidation of precious metals and it destroys organic materials such as pearls. Besides all of advantages brought on by LED technology for illumination of display windows in jewelry stores there is one more, saving energy. Chain stores can save up to 10,000€ a month.

 

We have also developed a light that is suitable for illuminating stairways in apartment buildings, where lights are used briefly and often. Due to cancellation of traditional light bulbs there are only energy saving bulbs left. However, these are not appropriate because of their limit in the number of clicks on a switch. They also need to be replaced up to once a month. One can also find LED lights on the market adaptable to E27 thread, however they have one deficiency; they do not illuminate 360° as classical light bulbs do. At DRM Company we have developed a light bulb for plafond lights that illuminates under the 120° angle. 

 

The newest product that we offer on the market is a reflector to illuminate buildings. We test illuminated church steeple in Sežana. Light fixtures are adjusted to extreme conditions.

 

Location of production in Slovenia allows us great flexibility. Since we are not liable to large stocks of lights we have material in amounts which are indicated by the sales trends. That is how we avoid the sales of old technologies and we offer our customers new products that are in step with time and according to their wishes. Before we launch our products onto the market, we technically test them to make sure they meet all the requirements and quality of product of the DRM Company. In the manufacture we use technologies of the world’s largest and best manufacturers of LED diodes; CREE and SEOUL. We are up to date with their development and follow them with our products. The relevance of our products is proved by certificates and written ratifications from independent institutions, and we have proved our quality with the acquisition of ISO 9001/2000 standard.

 

We adapt the development of lighting to the needs of illumination. We offer lighting for housing, ships, jewelry shops, technical rooms, hallways, outdoor lighting... We have developed our own brand of lamps by the name EcoArtis. Our inventiveness and products have been protected with a patent.

 

We will continue strengthening our competitive advantage and will extensively expose our complete services and possible logistics. We are aware of the need to exploit production capacity even more in parallel with investments into modern equipment and technical procedures. At the same time we are aware of the importance of fast response and flexible business relations with business partners.
